“I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” the second track and single from our EP Foolish Heart, began as a birthday surprise for our manager — a devoted KISS fan. Instead of recreating the original’s disco, arena-rock sound, we reimagined the iconic 1979 hit through a Laurel Canyon–inspired roots lens, blending warmth, folk-rock energy and rich layered harmonies.
