Confident, yet relaxed, Far Gone Lullabies is the work of an artist who has come into her own. Its nine tracks display a playful range, from the contemporary folk opener, It is All Right, to the closing cover of Four Strong Winds, Jessica’s bright, driving take on the Canadian songbook staple.

  • “Astutely and, at times, lavishly produced, this, her fourth release, includes an appearance by the celebrated Saint John String Quartet and Grammy Award-winning, multi-instrumentalist Gordie Sampson, and it certainly raises the possibility that Rhaye’s career could take off in several directions.” - Penguin Eggs

“The new album FAR GONE LULLABIES is simply beautiful; a captivating mix of acoustic country pop, thoughtfully arranged and intimately written.” - Maverick Magazine UK (*****5 Star Review)

“Four Strong Winds is a song I wrote back in the early 60s… and it lives on today, all these years later. Jessica's version of the song is sweet and she rocks it pretty good. She makes the song her own. I wish her much success..." - Ian Tyson

“Jessica Rhaye works the fertile folk/pop/country ground somewhere west of The Waifs and east of a young Cindy Church.” - Penguin Eggs Magazine

“In a world that seems to have gone mad sometimes, like a lullaby, there is a calming reassurance in Jessica’s wonderful voice that everything is alright.  Slip this record on after a tough day on the job. You’ll feel better for it.” - East Coast Kitchen Party
