My Heart
Belongs to You

single RElease date: 02/11/26

‘My Heart Belongs to You’ is a fun love song that echoes the spirit of 1950s country music and is inspired by a sweet love letter I received as a teenage girl, from a boy who poured his heart out. Though I never returned his feelings or his words, I kept that beautiful letter all these years, knowing someday it would become inspiration for a song. ’My Heart Belongs To You’ turns that long-lost note into a toe-tapping tale of young love, heartbreak and longing that lingers with a smile.

  • MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU
(Music & Lyrics © Jessica Rhaye Music)

    V1:
    Goodbye sunshine
    Hello moon
    I see your reflection
    on the silver spoon
    Why so sad?
    Why so blue?
In a sky full of stars
    are you lonesome too?

    V2:

    Hello gray clouds
    Hello rain
    I hear you knocking
    On my windowpane
    What a pity
    What a shame
    Oh will I ever
    see you again?

    CHORUS:
OH, MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU

    V3:
    Goodbye summer,
    Goodbye fall
    You’re a sweet memory
    I still recall
    My heart’s to blame
    It’s my fault
It’s better to have loved you
    then never at all

    CHORUS:
    MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU
OH, MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU

    BRIDGE:
    Bring on the heart ache
    Bring on the blues
If I can’t have your love
    What will I do?

    CHORUS:
OH, MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU
OH, MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU
OH, MY HEART BELONGS TO YOU

Official music video for “My Heart Belongs to You” by Jessica Rhaye and The Ramshackle Parade
Video director, producer & editor: Jordan Mattie
Conceptualist & co-producer: Jessica Rhaye

Set in the vintage charm of the Hampton Middle School Auditorium—with its original brown curtains and cozy stage—this music video captures the nostalgic heart of ‘My Heart Belongs To You’. Styled like a 1950s country rockabilly band, we aimed for the feel of an old Grand Ole Opry variety show, complete with cowboy hats and fun, hand-crafted papier-mâché props. Directed in collaboration with our friend and filmmaker Jordan Mattie, the video features The Ramshackle Parade and my son, Ryder, on piano bringing this fun throwback tune to life with warmth, whimsy, and a whole lot of heart.
